Weekend, etc...

Well, I had a relatively calm weekend. Saturday, Shawn and I went bowling with our league. We are not very good bowlers but we did manage to win two out of three games annd most total pins. We're still dead last in the standings, but at least we feel better about it now.

Sunday, we did some laundry, cleaned up the bedrooms and wrapped all the Christmas gifts. Let me tell you, that is hot work. I actually had to open the window to get some cool air. But at least we don't have to worry about the presents anymore. All we really have left is the Christmas Cards. We haven't even started them yet. First we have to find the mailing list, but I still have to make about a third of them. We got some store-bought cards for extended family, but I really want to use my Stampin' Up! stuff to make the more personal ones. I am hoping I will be motivated enough to start tomorrow.

Tonight, I am going to a holiday concert with Christina at Severance Hall. It's Linda Eder, the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra and the North Coast Men's Chorus! I have been looking forward to this for more than six months. I love Linda Eder! She is one the most fantastic singers I have ever heard and I can't wait to see her in concert. I did see her in Jekyll & Hyde when the show came to Cincinnati, but this is going to be great! I am very excited, can you tell?

Drivel...

I think I am finished shopping for Christmas. The only thing I can't figure out, is what to get my grandmother. She has enough dust collectors and I really don't want to get her another angel. She has plenty of them. I was thinking about taking her to Clint's concert, but I don't know if she would be able to deal with the sometimes riske elements of the choir's show. Shawn hates restaurants, so we can't take her to dinner. I am hoping Christina will be able to help me come up with something.

I am going over to Mom's tonight to wrap Shawn's gifts. I am looking forward to taunting him with them once I get them home and put them under the tree.

I just found this out today, Alias is moving to Wednesday nights opposite The West Wing!!! I can't believe it! I know that in the grand scheme of things, it's not really important, but man that sucks! While I can always tape The West Wing and watch it later, now there is nothing on Sundays after Charmed. Unlike most of my family, I do not watch Desperate Housewives. It's probably a good show, but I didn't want to get hooked on something that was going to move once Alais started. Guess I should have given it a shot.

Oh, well. What will be, will be.
